Reliable, rapid transport with our horseboxes

Gelissen Paardentransport makes your horse’s comfort a priority, which is why we have a wide range of well-equipped fleet of horseboxes. They meet the most recent EU standards:

We have 7 horseboxes, each of them are suitable for 8 to 9 horses, and can have a trailer added. This allows us to transport a maximum of 18 horses. a small horsebox, suitable for 2 horses. an articulated trailer, suitable for 18 horses. Our horseboxes can be extended with our 4 trailers, each of which is suitable for 8 to 9 horses. The walls and floors are covered with rubber to prevent injuries and to muffle the noise so that the journey is quieter. Each vehicle is fitted with at least 2 cameras. The driver can keep an eye on the horses from the driver’s cabin throughout the entire journey. Our vehicles also have temperature sensors that warn the driver when the temperature in the horsebox has fallen below freezing or has risen above 35ºC. This allows precautions to be taken –if necessary – such as more ventilation or taking off or putting on rugs. All vehicles have a satellite navigation system.

All partitions are moveable and fitted with headboards that can be closed or opened depending on the neighbouring horses. The horses can be easily checked, fed and watered through the fully opening sidewall. Under the vehicle there are lockers in which feed and water and other horse tack can be transported.
